Well respected and top angler Mark Pollard graced Partridge Lakes Fishery Tackle & Bait shop with his new range of pole floats – available to buy now!
There are five patterns in the initial launch and they are aimed at silver-fish fishing and F1s. The MP range starts with the MP1 and finishes with the MP5.
Mark had this to say on the range: “The MP1 is a classic roach float and a shape that I have used for over 20 years. It is suitable for canals and drains and is great for squatt/punch work.
“The MP2 is a carbon-stemmed pattern that is a great all-rounder. I like it for fishing maggots on both canals and commercials. The MP3 is a beautiful choice and will be great for fishing all manner of baits.
“The MP4 is my favourite float in the range and is a slim pattern with carbon stem and fine hollow bristle. I believe this is the ultimate F1 float and it is a pattern I have long pinned my faith in.
“Finally we have the MP5. This is a slim pencil float but interestingly it has a long bristle. Many of the drains that I fish can suffer with bad skim and a long bristle allows me to get the body of the float under the surface skim. This allows the float to sit rock steady! A great pattern for speed work.
