Ribbon
Lake

Ribbon is one of the more mature lakes at Partridge as it was one of the first waters to be created and has been modified throughout the years to create a lake which fishes well all year round for all levels of anglers. Ribbon has 20 pegs, all of which are disability friendly, as they have wide pegs suitable for wheelchair access and Blue Badge Holder Car Parking spaces directly next to the lake. It is also located very close to the main facilities on the complex such as the toilets (including a disabled toilet), terrace café, log cabin, office and the tackle & bait shop.

Ribbon is full of Commons, Mirrors, Ide, F1s and Golden Tench with weights up to 12lbs and it has a depth of 7ft and 11m across to the island making it ideal for pole fishing.

Top tips for fishing Ribbon are to fish pellet and caster across into the mud holes or caster and maggot down the track. Caster tends to work particularly well on Ribbon in the summer, at the 2015 Fish ‘O’ Mania Qualifier which was held across the whole complex, Connor Barlow (Sponsored by Guru) won with a weight of 154.11lbs off Ribbon peg 8 fishing caster all match.
