The Coveys consist of 6 lakes with 173 pegs in total across the 6 lakes combined.

The Covey Lakes are set over 5 acres of scenic countryside and is Cheshire’s number one match fishing venue. The Covey has been designed with 4 interlocking and 2 individual lakes to form a 173 peg match water! No pegs or rods over lap each other making this a unique fishing water. There is a complex pump system throughout the 6 waters to aerate and provide perfect conditions for these heavily stocked waters comprising of large F1, Mirror, Ide, Commons, Barbel and Chub.

The Coveys are at their deepest 7ft and 10 inches in the shallowest points across and 11 – 14m wide. Ideal for pole fishing with many different styles of fishing which work well consistently producing huge weights all year round, with a record match weight caught on the 10th of September 2015 on Covey 3, peg 52, Ste Openshaw caught 291lbs and 6oz of mirrors, commons and ide by fishing caster shallow and worm down the edge!

Open Matches run all year round on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays. OAP (over 60yrs) and Disabled matches run all year round on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
