Willow lake is one of most popular day ticket waters here at Partridge Lakes with 20 pegs it is situated closely to the terrace café, tackle & bait shop and toilets and easily accessible from the main car park.
Willow is 7ft in the deepest areas and 18 inches in the shallowest parts and 11 to 16m wide, perfect for pole fishing and using a tip rod along with waggler fishing, many different methods and baits work well on Willow due to the varied sizes 6 oz up to 20 lbs and species of fish stocked in there, including Commons, Mirrors, F1s, Barbel, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Golden Tench.
Top tips for Willow are to fish pellet across over to the island, for silver fish good baits to use are caster, maggots and ground bait in the deeper water. If it is larger Perch that you are after catching then Peg 2 has produced this cracking fish quite often!
Willow has recently been dug through to join with Piper Lake.
