Working on the fishery side of Partridge Lakes involves a wide range of tasks that help keep the venue clean, safe, and enjoyable for anglers and visitors.

Typical Fishery Duties May Include:

• Litter picking around the lakes and pathways
• Emptying bins across the site
• Cleaning the main hub area
• Cleaning the toilet facilities
• Cleaning and maintaining lake signage
• Repainting signs around the fishery
• Assisting with painting benches and general site improvements

Shop & Angler Support:

• Serving customers in the tackle shop
• Assisting with bait preparation for the shop
• Offering advice and guidance to anglers
• Carrying out day ticket checks
• Checking and monitoring members on the lakes

Match & Event Support:

• Helping run matches in the mornings
• Assisting with weigh-ins at the end of matches

Grounds & Maintenance Work:

• Assisting the grounds team with rebuilding pegs
• Passing tools and helping remove debris during maintenance work
• General maintenance tasks such as trimming trees, mowing lake banks, strimming paths, and tidying the warehouse

Fishery Care & Angler Assistance:

• Retrieving deceased fish when required
• Assisting anglers on the banks when help is needed
• Responding to any call-outs around the fishery

We look for friendly, dependable people who are happy to work outdoors and get involved in a variety of tasks. An interest in fishing is helpful but not essential — a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
